This beautiful valley of Jezreel/Megiddo will never see an end-time battle

In defence of the sidelined God Jehovah, Creator of the Universe and Father of Humanity
My Goodness, really, what were Israel's sins?
Well, first a word from future king designate Jesus, who was christened (anointed) by God (Jehovah) at his baptism in the Jordan by John which made him a Christ (anointed one):
37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who
are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers
her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 "See! your house is left
to you desolate; 39 "for I say to you, you shall see Me* no more till you say, ‘Blessed
is He who comes in the name of the LORD*!’"
Matthew 23: 37-39 - KJV
Jerusalem here represents the whole of Israel; common practice around the world.
* note the initial capital in Jesus’ own words here. Really? Oh, you lovely scholars
the LORD and His Lord will have it out with you soon enough.

and now for a more definitive and detailed word from the Prophet Jeremiah:
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, 2 Stand in the gate of Jehovah’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship Jehovah. 3 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. 4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, are these. 5 For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; 6 if ye oppress not the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your own hurt: 7 then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even for evermore.
8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. 9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods that ye have not known, 10 and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered; that ye may do all these abominations? 11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it, saith Jehovah.
12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith Jehovah, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not: 14 therefore will I do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee. 17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink–offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith Jehovah; do they not provoke themselves, to the confusion of their own faces? 20 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, mine anger and my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, upon man*, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
21 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt–offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat ye flesh. 22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt–offerings or sacrifices: 23 but this thing I commanded them, saying, Hearken unto my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people; and walk ye in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you. 24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. 25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day, I have sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: 26 yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff: they did worse than their fathers.
27 And thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. 28 And thou shalt say unto them, This is the nation that hath not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah their God, nor received instruction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. 29 Cut off thy hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights; for Jehovah hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath. 30 For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight, saith Jehovah: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it. 31 And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded not, neither came it into my mind.
32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter: for they shall bury in Topheth, till there be no place to bury 33 And the dead bodies of this people shall be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall frighten them away. 34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land shall become a waste. Jeremiah 7:1-34 ASV
* Here the NWT reads mankind, globalising an Israel-specific issue. True, the guilty transgressor Israel were indeed of the human genus i.e. mankind, but in no way representative of a humanity without a law to transgress. It was an entirely local problem between Jehovah and His flock Israel.
Here some of the cross-references from Jesus' condemnation of the Jewish leaders:
Ge 9:5 And surely your blood, the blood of your lives, will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, will I require the life of man.
Ge 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: For in the image of God made he man.
Nu 35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood, it polluteth the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
De 21:7 and they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
De 21:8 Forgive, O Jehovah, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and suffer not innocent blood to remain in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
2Ki 24:4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Jehovah would not pardon.
Isa 26:21 For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Jer 2:30 In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
Jer 2:34 Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the innocent poor: thou didst not find them breaking in; but it is because of all these things.
Jer 26:15 Only know ye for certain that, if ye put me to death, ye will bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof; for of a truth Jehovah hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
Jer 26:23 and they fetched forth Uriah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king, who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.
La 4:13 ¶ It is because of the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, That have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her.
Re 18:24 And in her* was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all that have been slain upon the earth.
* The religious harlot, anointed Israel under the New Covenant, the bride of Christ designate, who lusts after and prostituted herself with all other authority figure Gods and rulers.
. . . and the collective sins of forgiven and redeemed Israel under the New Covenant and Testament continue even as we draw attention to them via the essay pages on this Website. Enamoured with place, profit and accolades from her secular paramours, the once virginal bride of Christ continues to play the harlot.
Revelation 17 and 18 tell the sad story of her demise. May all who are subject to her, become free from her religious tentacles when the Christ takes over global governance in association with the little flock of faithful ones at the birth of the Kingdom.
Jesus, John and a host of others are English names of Jesus, John and a host of others wherever they had originated and pronounced or spelled or both in their native tongues.
Live with it scholars, for we speak English in the English speaking realm inhabited by English speakers no less. I know that this is a most profound revelation, but again: Live with it!
Very few translations capitalise LORD in the NT when quoting from the OT where it is rendered in the same manner.
Some rare examples of the using the name Jehovah in Matthew 23:39 where Jesus quotes from Psalm 118:26:
For I say to you, you will by no means see me from henceforth until you say, ‘Blessed is he that comes in Jehovah’s name!’”
For I say to you that you will not see me from now on, until you will say, 'Blessed is he who has come in the name of THE LORD JEHOVAH.'
A few capitalise LORD as frequently practiced in the Old Testament:
For I tell you this, you will never see me again until you say, 'Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD!'"
37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 "See! your house is left to you desolate; 39 "for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’"
No better way to illustrate the LORD Lord mess than Psalm 110:1-2:
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make your enemies your footstool." 2 The LORD shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies!
1 A Psalm of David. Jehovah saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2 Jehovah will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
1 Psalm of David. Jehovah said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I put thine enemies as footstool of thy feet. 2 Jehovah shall send the sceptre of thy might out of Zion: rule in the midst of thine enemies.
1 A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.’ 2 The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.
Finally here the ultimate obfuscation of Jehovah's identity
1 A psalm for David. The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou at my right hand: Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
Introspection? Who is talking to himself here, the LORD or the Lord?
But I am getting ever more tired of it all, because no one wants to know.
Society seems to have moved on from a God too far, as we keep busying ourselves on this most wonderful treasure, a planet not of our own making nor that of chance: Earth.
