‘Welcome to all interested in the Good News or Gospel.’

Really? J

What good news? For whom?

Please allow me to explain with the aid of the manual used by Christianity to not only justify their existence, but also to set up the greatest con ever to grace the world of humankind.

What con? you may ask.  Please do, for I shall provide all the necessary details from precisely the same manual commonly known as the Bible.  That most beautifully engineered con is:

Salvation for all!

In order to successfully fashion this doctrine of universal servitude, it must be necessary to have something to save in the first place.  The religious guilt merchants, as already anticipated by the apostles Peter and Paul, in an effort to secure position, power, prestige and financial benefits for themselves, soon contrived using the biblical account of saving a guilty nation from extinction, to apply to all humanity.  To facilitate the scam, they came up with the original sin doctrine, commandeered a couple of verses from the manual, grossly out of global context and Hey Presto! as per:

http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/432565/original-sin:

In Christian doctrine, the condition or state of sin into which each human being is born; also, the origin (i.e., the cause, or source) of this state. Traditionally, the origin has been ascribed to the sin of the first man, Adam, who disobeyed God in eating the forbidden fruit (of knowledge of good and evil) and, in consequence, transmitted his sin and guilt by heredity to his descendants.

Mind you, it was only in the waning years of the second century that the blame-game idea: it's all Adam's fault! had its genesis, whereas Genesis had nothing to do with it and it wasn't until St. Augustine (354 – 430)  that the doctrine received its complete set of false New Testament teeth.

Alas in Romans, Paul was simply focusing on and expounding Israel's transgressions against  the only law covenant/constitution ever given by God to any body of humans.

Just a little aside about the reality of God as Creator:

Not demeaning myself  here on this site by engaging in any creation/evolution debate, for both creationism and evolution are about as valid as are the relative merits of Grimm's fairy-tales vs. Lord of the Rings or whatever other delightful fiction.  Let it suffice to say that my uneducated mind has trouble with the big bang in that there would have to be something there in the first place to do the banging. Where did that come from?

In order to cope, and in keeping with prevailing mind-set of a set mind, I have come up with my own theoretical fact to settle the issue once and for all:

The big bang occurred when the fickle lance of fate penetrated the virginal womb of universal space via the hymen of ignorance resulting in the chaos of  a cataclysmic orgasm which ultimately gave birth to a self-fertilizing virgin who became known to her progeny as mother nature.

That should even things out between the two protagonist religions: scientism and creationism.

But to continue: Luther not so much turned his back on this great blame-game idea of original sin, but on the excesses of a greedy clergy who tried to improve on the alms-race the doctrine had already generated.

Doctrine driven translators, scholars and commentators conveniently blurred the distinction between sin and transgression to theologically mean one and the same.

Since the human race had never been given a law by God, they could not transgress.  Therefore, as the Apostle Paul so exquisitely stated in Romans 4:15:

for the law worketh wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there transgression <3847>’ ASV

Cross-references clearly support this scriptural reality: Romans 3:20:

‘because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight; for through the law cometh the knowledge of sin <266>;

Romans 5:13:  for until the law sin <266> was in the world; but sin <266> is not imputed when there is no law.’

(the #s above are from Strong's original language definitions.)

Please note that there is some difference between sin and transgression.  Sin is doing something stupid, bad or wrong to oneself or others, relative to prevailing community/tribal standards or laws enshrined in national constitutions.

Biblical transgression, however, can only occur when there are laws and clear directives from God to define it and the consequences of doing so.

Even more pertinent is Romans 5:14:

‘Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the likeness of Adam’s transgression.’

Adam's transgression was clearly not inherited by his progeny i.e. all of us.   We all simply decay and die by default, as do all other living things on earth  –more about this on other pages and especially here.

Furthermore, generic man was not cut off from God either spiritually or in any other manner.

God was always available to anyone acknowledging Him and wishing to make contact.  Just look how He cared for and advised Cain before the murder of Abel.  Or how He befriended Abraham, who had no Jesus to act as an intermediary.

Anyone can have direct access in order to befriend God.  None of us need Jesus to intercede for us.  We are not guilty.  No law - no transgression!

However, (don't we just love howevers?)  it was first of all for God's firstborn son Israel that the Passover and Atonement Sheep Jesus had come, because they failed to honour the agreement, covenant for a Kingdom Jehovah had initially made with them at Sinai Exodus 19:3-8.  The firstborn son  Israel had to die primarily as a rebellious son.  Though the son sold himself into an almost irredeemable debt of transgressions, he  could be redeemed if someone were to take his place.

The law of household rules God subsequently ratified in Exodus 24 was with Israel the wife. They solemnly agreed to that as well, signed in blood over a sacrifice.

Though neither God's firstborn son nor the wife kept their respective vows, Israel the wife faced permanent termination as an adulteress according to the Law for adulteresses.

If someone were to read chapter 16 of Ezekiel in a few translations, that aspect of this site would attain greater clarity.

Israel as the firstborn son, needed a final atonement in order to retain their claim as heir.

 ──more about this elsewhere.

Just for a little break, here the whole site in synopsis:

Other than not being monkeys, humans have inherited nothing from Adam.

Mankind has no inherited sin.  The man and 2nd Adam Jesus died by proxy for the only begotten son of God offered (John 3:16) in sacrifice to save the world* of Israel, so that they could continue to run and fulfil all the promises Jehovah had made to the fathers for the seed of Abraham Israel (Isaiah 41:8) to continue to assist and become a blessing to humanity to complete their original assignment given to Adam #1.

* Strong's Greek # 2889

Like all animal sacrifices ever made, which stay dead, the lamb Jesus remains very much dead, but not so the only begotten heavenly son of God who was potentially slaughtered as THE sacrifice in the manner of Abraham's only begotten, as in miraculously conceived Isaac, who was only saved by the lamb caught in the thicket.

The one prefigured the other.

Both miraculously conceived, both therefore only-begotten, both critically The Seed of Abraham and both saved by a sheep.  Can it get any better than that?

The Guilt Merchants

are those who wear a benign garb of love and compassion while imprisoning their slaves with false promises.

They proclaim themselves prophets of doom and salvation ostensibly representing a God who never sent them.

Even today the false prophets of Christianity, who quite properly began with a small remnant of anointed Israelites out of a forgiven Israel, later melded with those out of other nations, copy the lying prophets of old:

Then Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke I unto them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their own heart. -Jeremiah 14:14 asv

Here Jesus ‘came’ to save Israel out of doctrinal and organizational enslavement even as stated by him as he quoted from

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings  unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken–hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;  ASV

and then, because things prophetic were not realized the way their leaders' imagination had conjured up, they soon regressed back into the ways of old their Lord had just freed them from and re-enslaved their flocks into a straight jacket of doctrine and organizational structure, all the while promising them freedom as they took it away.  That process had already begun even while the apostles Peter and Paul penned their letters:

17 These are springs without water,* and mists driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved.  18 For, uttering great swelling words of vanity, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by lasciviousness, those who are just escaping from them that live in error;  19 promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he also brought into bondage.  20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first.  21 For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.  22 It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit again, and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire. ─2  Peter 2:17-22  ASV

* The above These are springs without water  may remind those more familiar with the Bible of the words of Jesus to the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:10:

Jesus answered and said to her, If  you knew the gift of God, and who it is that said to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.

This in turn may take the knowledgeable reader back to Isaiah's words to Israel in chapter 12 verse 3:

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation,

as it did the heavenly Christ, who was responsible for the references to the fountain of water of life in Revelation 7:17 and the river of water of life coming out from God’s throne in Revelation 22:1-2, which also brings to mind that river in the great temple vision of Ezekiel 47 where it issues forth from the sanctuary of the Temple.

The apostasy having already begun in the time of the apostles, eventually congealed into the reign of secular Christianity in the 4th century whereupon it spread its enslaving tentacles earth-wide.

What mockery did they perform in connection with Jesus and the only begotten son?

Who or what was/is Jesus?

Messiah? King? High Priest? Mediator? Testator? God? Sacrificial Lamb? Father? Son?

But to repeat:

If he was High Priest and Sacrifice, did the High Priest kill himself?  Did God commit suicide?  Was the Lamb a High Priest?  Did the Lamb kill the High Priest?  Was the Lamb the Testator?  Did the Testator have to die?  If the Mediator is dead who mediates now?  If the sacrificial Lamb Jesus died, who is in heaven now?  If one of them died, is there still a Trinity?  Was the Lamb resurrected?  Has the ransom therefore been returned to the Ransomer? If the Lamb was God and the Lamb has not been resurrected, is God dead?  If God was resurrected, who resurrected Him?  Is the Father His own son or the Son his own Father?  Are they both the father of the holy spirit?

One could add: Was there a sheep in heaven that came down?  Is there an Only-Begotten-Sheep?  Did Mary in fact give birth to a sheep?  I always thought that Mary had a little lamb was a tale for children told by fairies.  Did a sheep go back up to heaven?  Why?  Are there other sheep in heaven?  What do sheep do up there? Grassing on the naughty ones?

Un-puzzling these equations will be addressed somewhere else on site, but here is a bit about the ALL in the Salvation for all deception:

All or all sorts . . . of what?

Did the Lamb Jesus die for all humanity?  Or all kinds of people, first from Israel and then from Gentiles?

The Apostle Paul made this comment in Acts 13:

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.  46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.  47 "For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’"  *

* Please note my comments on  verse 47 at the end of this page

‘Many are called but few are chosen’  Jesus said in view of the whole of Israel having been initially called, but when the final whistle blew, only a few out of the whole flock of Jacob responded, requiring some of all sorts of Gentiles to make up the numbers.

Therefore God had commanded the anointed congregation of the Bride of Christ to become a light also to the gentile peoples of the earth, while Jesus was a light to Israel to the wide opening of their confinement, their release from slavery to the law and their collective transgressions of it.

Jesus first words after his baptismal anointing were a quote from Isaiah 61:1, 2:

The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken–hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;  2  to proclaim the year of Jehovah’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

They were indeed good news or gospel to the meek in Israel for the flock of Jacob to be completely set free from slavery to the Law and their accrued debt of transgression against it.
It was comfort to right hearted ones in Israel to finally see some of the promises being fulfilled
in Jesus.  He had come to proclaim a day of salvation for repentant Jews, but also a day of vengeance upon the whole disobedient nation.  —
see Galatians 4:21-31 re Israel's slavery to the Law.

So what is the salvation for all through Jesus idea all about then?

Are these verses lying?

---------- 1 Timothy 2:3-6 ----------

3  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  4  Who will have all <3956> men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.   5  For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;  6  Who gave himself a ransom for all <3956>, to be testified in due time. {to...: or, a testimony}

Here C.H. Spurgeon's keen observation from a sermon on Particular Redemption:

"the whole world has gone after him" Did all the world go after Christ?  "then went all Judea, and were baptized of him in Jordan."  Was all Judea, or all Jerusalem, baptized in Jordan?  "Ye are of God, little children", and the whole world lieth in the wicked one".  Does the whole world there mean everybody?  The words "world" and "all" are used in some seven or eight senses in Scripture, and it is very rarely the "all" means all persons, taken individually.  The words are generally used to signify that Christ has redeemed some of all sorts -- some Jews, some Gentiles, some rich, some poor, and has not restricted His redemption to either Jew or Gentile ...

The first few verses of 1 Timothy 2:3-6 provide the setting and are significant in this respect as they introduce all manner or kinds of people:

1  Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2  for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4  who desires
all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
5  For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6  who gave Himself a ransom
for all, to be testified in due time.  NKJV

He gave himself a ransom for all of whom?  Why, all he had come for, here in his own words:

Mathew 15:24  But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

Who were they?  Northern Kingdom?  All Israel?

Why not allow the NKJV cross-references do the talking, which are exactly as those I laboriously discovered myself during my latter years of discovery bible reading in the NWT, which these NKJV and other Bible's cross-references have simply verified - and PLEASE note that ALL the prophets of Israel were sent by God to speak only to, would you believe it?:

ISRAEL!

Here from the American Standard Version of  1901:

Isaiah 53:6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Jeremiah 50:6  My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

Jeremiah 50:7  All that found them have devoured them; and their adversaries said, We are not guilty, because they have sinned against Jehovah, the habitation of righteousness, even Jehovah, the hope of their fathers.

Ezekiel 34:5  And they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the beasts of the field, and were scattered.

Ezekiel 34:6  My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my sheep were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and there was none that did search or seek after them.

Ezekiel 34:16  I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.

Ezekiel 34:23  And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

because it was all about Israel per this introduction to the book of Isaiah in chapter 1:

2 Hear, heavens,

and listen, earth; for Jehovah has spoken:

“I have nourished and brought up children,

and they have rebelled against me.

3 The ox knows his owner,

and the donkey his master’s crib;

but Israel does not know,

my people do not consider.”

4 Ah sinful nation,

a people loaded with iniquity,

a seed of evildoers,

children who deal corruptly!

 They have forsaken Jehovah.

They have despised the Holy One of Israel.

They are estranged and backward.

5 Why should you be beaten more,

that you revolt more and more?

 The whole head is sick,

and the whole heart faint.

6  From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it:

wounds, welts, and open sores.

They haven’t been closed, neither bandaged, neither soothed with oil.  Web-Bible ASV

Even as does this reminder from Galatians 3:28, 29:

28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.  29  And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.  NKJV

Yes, The Israel of the Promise - Abraham's Seed.  See Isaiah 41:8, 14 for the perfect ID.

In spite of Spurgeon firmly believing that Jesus had died for all mankind, he at the same time acknowledged that only those from all sorts of people of all races, nations and social classes who accept God's means of salvation will benefit, because not all will accept God's saving means, as they understand it.

What he did not understand, even as Witnesses don't, that Jesus came to provide salvation only for those who were to make up, or rather be, the Kingdom of the Heavens, namely the seed of Abraham, post messianic Israel made up of all races, nations and social classes.

These in turn will be the instrument, vehicle or means to complete God's purpose toward the earth and mankind that Jehovah had temporarily put on hold because of the Angelic rebellion and Adam's subsequent unyielding attitude.

ALL will thus benefit, because Jesus had died to bring salvation to anointed Israel collectively and individually.

Why did the translators of the New World Translation render pas with all in verse 6 but with of all sorts of men in verse 4, which is contextually correct?

Doctrinal bias!  Yes, because all ‘Christians’ believe that Jesus literally died for ALL humanity as a ransom or redemption or whatever,  . . . and JWs just follow along, merrily missing the point.

My Comment on Verse 47 referred to from above:

Acts 13:

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.  46  Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.  47  "For so the Lord has commanded us*: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’"

* The us here are the group or congregation of disciples drawn from the forgiven servant
Israel and gentile proselyte branches.  —
see Romans 11:1-26 for God's way of saving Israel.

AV-KJV Cross-references from the above verse 47 point to a section of scripture that was clearly from the LORD Jehovah and not from the Lord Jesus, an entirely different individual.

One was simply Lord on the basis of his descent in the royal line of David, while the other designation is a lying Trinitarian subterfuge to meld the two into one godhead:

Isaiah 42:1   Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth;

I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Intuitively and clearly based on rightly understood doctrine AV-KJV Cross-references from that verse Isaiah 42:1:

Isa 43:10  Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isa 49:3  And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Isa 49:4  Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.

Isa 49:5  And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Isa 49:6  And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isa 52:13   Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

Isa 53:11  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant* justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

    * Jesus, who was Israel from coming out of Egypt to their execution and salvation in him.

The entire chapters of the following extracted verses ought to be read for better understanding:

Isa 42:6  I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Isa 49:6  And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isa 60:3  And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

These verses are instrumental in understanding what Paul was actually saying in
Acts 13:45-47 quoted above.
