Isn't that sense of kosmos as taking care of something just so good and ever so beautiful in connection with Jehovah's firstborn son and wife Israel.

Now please apply that to your understanding of the Scriptures

The reality of the Only Begotten Son of God
dying only for Israel in John 3:16 is absolute!

Israel the wife of God was permanently terminated in Jesus for her adulterous transgressions of the marriage agreement or covenant, while Israel, Jehovah's firstborn son having sold themselves into sin, had to be executed and redeemed, repurchased or ransomed to inherit the Kingdom promised under the Old Testament.  They had to die and be born again because it is impossible for the little flock of flesh and blood to inherit the Kingdom - Luke 12:32; 1 Corinthians 15:50.

Because God made sure that the more restricted and focused word kosmos Strong's 2889 was used in John 3:16 and NOT Strong's 3625 which has the much broader meaning of inhabited earth, I have listed the words connected with kosmos and their definitions.  you may wish to initially go to the 2889 entry and then follow the references up.

As you contemplate the definitions, please keep in mind that:

1. Israel as Jehovah's wife was His decorative Adornment, Glory and Splendour and

2. That Israel was the only government ever instituted by God for any group or tribe of humans.
