This beautiful valley of Jezreel/Megiddo will never see an end-time battle

In defence of the sidelined God Jehovah, Creator of the Universe and Father of Humanity
How did we get the current crop of Aposta-sized Bibles?
Most likely because no one took note of these warnings from:
18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:
19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
Or here from:
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you.
It was all pretty kosher until after the Messiah had come and gone, and those waiting for him became both tired of waiting and impatient for his return.
As the button of this page succinctly expresses it, the bible has been truly aposta-sized to fit the norms of the Bride of Christ as they engaged themselves in polytheistic, adulterous relationships with the ‘gods’ and rulers of the whole inhabited earth for mutual benefit.
There is probably no better book for a broad perspective of the emergence of Christianity
and the development of the current system of beliefs and doctrinal underpinnings
The Early Church by Henry Chadwick.
There is little of any significance I can add here, except that where the New Testament is at variance with the Old, it has been edited in the early centuries for self-preservation, accelerated disciple making, financial benefits and status, to include a number of pagan concepts, not the least of which is that ubiquitous God-dishonouring doctrine of the Trinity.
The apostatising leaders soon colluded with each other and secular rulers to remove all evidence to the contrary by covert editing of relevant manuscripts and destroying all earlier copies.
Great excuse for injecting my own nonsensical conjectures and opinions?
Run with that if you like. OK with me.
But before you do, consider that there are a considerable number of copies of written material of far greater antiquity than those penned by NT writers available in this 21st century. Why then are Christian manuscript copies older than the 4th century as rare as hens teeth?
Ah, yes, I forgot, they were written on material with a short shelf-life.
Of course, how could I forget?
Why and how then have copies of far older records and works survived until now?
Conspiracy theories may abound about government and business, but the planned destruction of manuscript evidence of what was actually written by the inspired apostles and penmen of the NT during the first century, is no theory. The OT makes that very clear, while it also had succumbed to a measure of conspiratorial editing.
May continue to edit this page, but please go on meandering.
