This beautiful valley of Jezreel/Megiddo will never see an end-time battle

In defence of the sidelined God Jehovah, Creator of the Universe and Father of Humanity
What about Angels ?
The idea of Angels has captivated the collective imagination of humanity from the very beginning. Are they real or just an enchanting diversion? I remember them depicted as overweight infants lounging impishly on cotton-wool skylands of paintings in my grandmother's apartment.
Little angels, to describe one's children, whatever their behaviour, or darling angel a partner as a term of endearment or a foot in the door of desire.
Where did the concept and term originate?
Simply put it was first used by Jehovah in the library of the constitution and associated documents given to ancient Israel, commonly known as The Bible.
The Hebrew term used (Strong’s 04397 mal'ak) basically means messenger, as does the Greek: 32 aggelov ang'-el-os in the NT.
Angels have not been created in God's image, as have humans. They do not possess God's measure of creative potential given to generic man. They were, however, exclusively equipped with the necessary intelligence, power and ability required to carry out specific assignments and deal with and adjust to unexpected contingencies.
Angels have no Gender, something only required to produce offspring.
Strictly speaking an angel is an it grammatically not a he or she. As in other European languages where the word angel is masculine, the same held true in old English as it still does in its German cousin, but so no longer.
29 Jesus answered and said to them, "you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. 30 "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. (Matthew 22:29-30)
34 And Jesus answered and said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 "But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 "nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. (Luke 20:34-36)
Now for a little doctrinal aside here in view of the above:
1. Angels do and can die as evidenced by the complete annihilation of their rebellious kind in that virtual lake of fire of Revelation, symbolising their one-way trip into oblivion.
2. They do not, however, experience death as a default condition as do Humans at the present.
3. The above nor can they die anymore only applies to the little flock of those men (generic) counted worthy to be resurrected as heavenly spirit sons of God to an immortal life and thus not die anymore -1 Corinthians 15:53-54 where death is swallowed up forever relative only to those of the little flock given the kingdom by God.
Assignments given to angels by Jehovah consist of messages/instructions conveyed to either be performed by others or given concrete reality by the messenger himself.
Having little notion of their exact nature, one may best describe them as an amalgam of an autonomous living being and programmable robot, completely subservient to the owner/programmer.
The biblical evidence of their capabilities ranges from the first and only begotten angel used by the creator/designer to actually fashion all His designs into reality to those idiots wishing to leave the person they were possessing to enter a herd of swine, but only after permission was granted by God through Jesus.
One may wish to question my reference to their lack of creativity when considering the seemingly opposite displayed by the first rebel angel and deceiver. If lacking creativity, how come his conceiving of rebellion?
Having been appointed supervising Cherub and chief liaison officer to oversee the development of human society within parameters set by God, which would also have included an ability to recognize and deal with possible rebellion by individuals as these exercised their God-given ability of choice, he was programmed with all the concepts and specific terms necessary to deal with a profusion of foreseeable problems that may arise in human society including rebellion. He therefore knew what rebellion is and could do for an individual so inclined.
Though programmed and able to deal with rebellion in an earthly environment, he was unable to conceive the consequences that would befall him and his mates in the heavenly one. That was not a part of his programming even as it was not that of all who joined that rebellion.
What contributed to their becoming his rebel associates? Well perhaps because the supervising, or covering, Cherub was not penalized after his initial rebellion, some angels, envious of the sexual pleasures humans were already enjoying, and other power-hungry urges, took courage to take human wives for themselves and so began quite a number of interspecies relationships that were terminated by God at the deluge of Noah’s day in 2370 B.C.E. when the errant angels dematerialised while their wives and hybrid offspring drowned. No angels were ever able to materialize again at will, except those on special assignment from God.
The errant angel mates of the Slanderer (Devil) and Resister (Satan) while unable to materialize, but still desiring the pleasures of the flesh, in desperation continue to make every effort to covertly possess humans in whatever ways and by whatever means possible. On post messianic earth that seems no longer to be the case, unless people deliberately seek contact in specialty groups, via mediums or drugs.
About Angels that materialised
Some angels visited the earth and ate food; (Genesis 18:6-15) some had sex with human females and produced giant hybrids.
The very first Angel God ever produced, His only Begotten Son/God (John 1:18 NAS, NKJV, NWT) who had inherited all of what the lamb and son of man Jesus had achieved and was anointed to be, the Christ, also materialized after being born again as a spirit son, took on different human forms and ate food ‑Luke 24:15-35.
The Scriptures term Angels/Messengers “sons of the true God,” “morning stars,” and “holy myriads” (or “holy ones”).—Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7; De 33:2.
(Genesis 6:1-4) 6 Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2 then the sons of the [true] God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good-looking; and they went taking wives for themselves*, namely, all whom they chose. 3 After that Jehovah said: “My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Accordingly his days shall amount to a hundred and twenty years.” 4 The Neph´i·lim proved to be in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of the [true] God continued to have relations with the daughters of men and they bore sons to them, they were the mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame.
(1 Corinthians 6:3) Do you not know that we shall judge angels? Why, then, not matters of this life?
(1 Peter 3:18-20) Why, even Christ died once for all time concerning sins, a righteous [person] for unrighteous ones, that he might lead you to God, he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit. 19 In this [state] also he went his way and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who had once been disobedient when the patience of God was waiting in Noah’s days, while the ark was being constructed, in which a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.. . .
(2 Peter 2:4) Certainly if God did not hold back from punishing the angels that sinned, but, by throwing them into Tar´ta·rus, delivered them to pits of dense darkness to be reserved for judgment;
(Jude 6) And the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place he has reserved with eternal bonds under dense darkness for the judgment of the great day.. . .NWT
Anyone discounting the above as inspired and genuine, cannot really believe in God and the veracity of His word.
