This beautiful valley of Jezreel/Megiddo will never see an end-time battle
Last-edit: January 1 2018
In defence of the sidelined God Jehovah, Creator of the Universe and Father of Humanity
OK, so I will never win an Oscar, which means I shall never indulge myself in the I-couldn't-have-done-it-without-you spiel in an effort to over-paint genius and personal achievement with humility.
How much of that has simply become a tradition and gotta be seen to be done in a sort of political correctnessity, or is in fact genuine, if only of fleeting temporariness, God only knows.
All that we are and have is not of our own making. Just a casual look around you in whatever place of endeavor you may temporarily call yours. How much of what you see or even own is of your own making? Oh yeah, you may have made the money selling your skills to obtain it all, true, but where would you be without the skills and expertise evident in the products people have produced for you to purchase? Nowhere!
Where I am currently writing this is a small room at the rear of a very modest suburban home.
As I look around me there is absolutely nothing except a small desk that I am actually responsible for making myself. Even that I could not have without perhaps many thousands of people involved in making and transporting the tools and materials in the first place. Some far away rubber plantation, iron ore mine, smelting facility and manufacturing plant are but a tiny fraction of what it took in resources and personnel to provide the material and tools for me to fashion the end-product. Without those I could not have made anything at all. I would not even have the food to eat that keeps me healthy long enough to be able to make that slipshod little desk.
That is not humility. That is reality.
OK, so where do I begin to thankfully acknowledge every thingful circumstance and everyone who contributed to my apprenticeship of life over the last 80+ years and counting?
Though no more than an accident of lust, I am nonetheless grateful that my parents engaged themselves in some yummy procreative exercises that in turn gave rise to my insignificant presence here on planet earth.
I was not abandoned, for which I also dearly thank my parents. During WWII at age 10, however, I was abandoned in a sense as I was shoved off into boarding school in the German countryside.
Even here I have to gratefully acknowledge the poor aim of an allied night-fighter pilot who had a go at me one night as I scrambled in one mighty hurry across the schoolyard in the middle of the night from the air-raid shelter to the pee place.
They have a heartrending song here in Oz: He was only nineteen. Love that song. Well, I was only 11. And yes, they also had nineteen year-old draftees in the German army, fancy that. Same song, same pain, and all disgustingly supported and encouraged by Christian religions.
Above all and everyone else, which I should have done earlier, my absolute, profound, and whatever better word that has not even been invented yet to express my gratitude most comprehensively, thank you must go to the creative Genius Jehovah God who provided the universal infrastructure within which He fashioned His detailed and most exquisite handiwork, of which I am but one after a long line of procreative events for which I must of necessity express my appreciation also to the participants.
Other than that, God had absolutely nothing whatever to do with my presence here. ‑Please push the about God button on the menu for more details of what He can and cannot do according to the Manual and logic and not personal opinion.
If God had or has a purpose for me, he could easily have steered me carefully through he vicissitudes of life to accomplish whatever he had in mind for me. Since I do not believe that He has, I rest my case.
As I grew up I instinctively accepted the existence of God, but was never involved with any Christian religion other than being christened in the Evangelical Church (a German branch of the Anglican church, I believe.) Never looked into or was ever told anything about the Bible, which I assumed to be a sort of church prayer book or just a door stop.
Married into a Jehovah's Witness family, I eventually became one in practice and belief. Overwhelming evidence absolutely and irrevocable convinced me of the reality of the existence of God and His creatorship. Same applies to His Word the Bible.
No way can 40 human quills, frequently unconnected in space and time, concoct a coherently single-themed document with such historical and scientific accuracy independently. Has to be from a single source.
Doctrinally, however, not all things JW seemed kosher. What really disturbed me was that this also applied to all of those wearing the Christian label who shared the commonality of the fundamental doctrine of universal inherited sin and imperfection and therefore the need for redemption through Jesus for every human.
Something definitely sucked here! Responding to repeated urgings by the Witnesses to read the Bible daily, I finally read it right through annually for a number of years starting around anno 2000. WOW! What an eye-opener that proved to be.
This web-site is the result.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude enough to the Witnesses for their contribution to my Bible understanding and the reality of, not faith in, God and His purpose. The research tools and their New World Translation have been invaluable in my research. Without them this web-site could never have been possible.
My thanks specifically go to all those who went before. Many of the early saints who contributed significantly to bible understanding, if only in the preservation of the biblical record.
The early translators of the Scriptures into the vernacular, the reformers, where even having a bible posed a threat to life. The Adventists and the many groups who originated during the 18th and 19th centuries contributed to greater understanding of the Scriptures in the light of the history of the day as well as the many manuscript and other archeological discoveries. The Bible students also built on that with many clarifications and deeper understanding, as also did the Witnesses, yet none of them could or were willing to shake off that false oppressing doctrine of universal sinfulness and guilt.
One of the most outstanding contributor to my research has to be ‑ here from Wikipedia:
James Strong (August 14, 1822 – August 7, 1894) was an American Methodist biblical scholar and educator, and the creator of Strong's Concordance. He was born in New York City; was Professor of Biblical Literature at Troy University in 1858-61, became Professor of Exegetical Theology at Drew Theological Seminary in 1868 and died at Round Lake, New York.
Ah, but unfortunately followed in Wikipedia by comments from the spokespersons of the Christian branch of the guilt industry to show that the unschooled and undereducated should not use Strong's concordance in translation and exegesis.
The educated were/are the very ones who hid the meaning of NT Greek words by using the same word in translation for a number of entirely different Greek ones. Or inserting words, other than those needed for grammatical conventions and clarity, on the basis of doctrinal assumptions rather than allowing the text to speak for itself.
Same claim was made about the unlettered disciples of Jesus Christ, who was likewise unlettered.
Perhaps it's time to thank my unletteredness, an alias for unprejudice.
A snippet from the NT book of Hebrews 11 will go well here (please try to read the whole chapter):
32 And what more shall I say? For the time will fail me if I go on to relate about Gid´e·on, Ba´rak, Samson, Jeph´thah, David as well as Samuel and the [other] prophets, 33 who through faith defeated kingdoms in conflict, effected righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 stayed the force of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from a weak state were made powerful, became valiant in war, routed the armies of foreigners. 35 Women received their dead by resurrection; but other [men] were tortured because they would not accept release by some ransom, in order that they might attain a better resurrection. 36 Yes, others received their trial by mockings and scourgings, indeed, more than that, by bonds and prisons. 37 They were stoned, they were tried, they were sawn asunder, they died by slaughter with the sword, they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, while they were in want, in tribulation, under ill-treatment; 38 and the world was not worthy of them. They wandered about in deserts and mountains and caves and dens of the earth. NWT
That all happened in Israel while still under the old testament constitution between
Moses' time and that of Zedekiah, the last king to sit representatively on God's
Throne before Messiah
–1 Chronicles 29:23.
To these and all those oppressed and persecuted since then for their faith and beliefs by religion and governments alike go my thanks.
Wish to thank particularly the Westminster system of the Australian Government to which I am particularly indebted for the relative freedom, forms of justice and social services available to its citizens.
The Southern Health Network and all the associated Doctors, Nurses and support personnel here in Melbourne deserve my special gratitude and that of all those who have benefited from their services.
Then there is the police, ambulance, fire-fighting and emergency services personnel and volunteers as well as thousands of other unsung heroes without which life would be a dangerous mess.
What about all those utilities we generally take for granted. Electricity, Gas, Gasoline/Petrol, the whole transport infrastructure and all the staff working in administrative levels of oversight and services from federal to local deserve our thanks. Just the postal services alone where a piece of mail find its way from sender through an incredible web to the recipient.
At our local level my sheer admiration goes to the postmen of all gender variations who, aloft on that little motorbike, deftly negotiate their way to suburban mail/letter boxes hail rain and thunder. Often the houses have no or poorly positioned numbers, the letterboxes are a shambles, dogs and other crazies get in the way along with traffic and God knows what else, yet the mail gets through. THANKS.
Profound gratitude also goes to the millions of car, truck and lorry drivers who passed me by over many decades coming or going without colliding with me. That says a lot for the safe driving habits of most motorists, does it not?
For the Internet my thanks must go to all those who designed it and enhanced it to its current stunning, versatile usability.
I never had family here in Australia other than my wife's and at some level the local JW congregation. Now that I have been removed for heresy and for not respecting the authority of The Faithful and Discreet Slave in charge of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and its official and legal arm WTB&TS, I am in a shunned condition and very much alone since my wife, who is still a part of that congregation, cannot communicate with me on the basis of my discoveries and the information set out herein on this web-site.
I am not crying on my pretzels* over that. Never will I be in some sort of enmity with the Witnesses or in anyway speak or act antagonistically towards them. They are victims of the chief liar Satan (Resister) as much as are all others. I am just grateful to Jehovah, who has freed me through His Word from unwarranted and unscriptural obligations and the most fundamental falsehood common to all Christian belief and doctrine.

My final and profound thanks must go to my wife Martha, who tirelessly contributes to the running of the household and in this manner continues to support me in matters domestic, while still a through and through Jehovah's Witness and therefore opposed to my stand in Godly matters.
